CURATED EDITIONS: FOG & PASTEL CITY
Our first ever drop is integrally tied to the city of San Francisco. Its wonky grid folds over impossible hills, fog curls into the corners between pastel stucco and Victorian ornamentation, as this strange landscape tumbles down into the Pacific and the Bay. Elliott Bamberger has spent years exploring his native city, creating loving portraits of its buildings that are so realistic that they feel surreal. Kimmy Quillin’s flat color juxtaposes rigid geometries and fluid dynamism, blurring the line between man-made structures and our curving, human bodies. Anamaria Morris, another native, collages disparate patterns and textures, mimicking the overlaying of humanity and rationality that the city embodies. 15% of our sales proceeds will be donated to Destiny Arts Center in Oakland, CA, a 32-year-old organization committed to inspiring social change through the arts, serving thousands of youth.
